This all took place on a private race track of course. Young gun in a M6 V10 507bhp coupe was right up my backside as we drove through a area dangerous to none track users. I knew though as we hit the next open section he was going to try and pop it past me.

 

So me thinking its a 3 or 4 ltr thinks, I'll wait till he makes his move and nail it :tongue:

 

Well he pull out and I hit the happy peddle and foooook meee he was nearly past me. The noise alone as his arse end came past my door told me it was no 4 ltr V8 and the Mspec badge told the full tail. They are quick. He almost got past just as I hit the sweet spot and surged back in front. Slapped her into third and he still hung on, but once I changed up into magic 4th he started to resead. :hyper:

300ZX insured for £18,000 (and still running on a running in map.)

Tell you what though a black MR2 Turbo last Friday was right on my arse through 2nd and midway through 3rd before I had to back of. They can be real quick little cars even with all the hair dressing equipment.

he couldnt have been trying that hard mark, i think if he was and he was running at the full power ie with the m button pressed he would have left you for dead, especially if your not running full power!! maybe once you are running full power it would be a different story but i think it was more a case of he didnt want to race his new 80+k chav mobile lol

520 lbs torque

 

limited to 155 but good for 206 mph

0-60 in 4.6

 

even at full power mate be careful as you may get your ass handed to you lmao

You are quite right it should have spanked Mark but it didn't and TBH it all comes down to the driver and what he/she is capable of and what they are prepared to go to to.

Listen If I get beat by a £80K 3 ton limo I would be depressed. Even though My car isn't the finished deal its not too far off and must be around 500 BHP at the crank and it must be heavier than the Zed. So I don't think it should be a real contest and was shocked that it nearly had me. :eek:

tbh im suprised it didnt have more torque with a big 5 ltr V10 under the bonnet?

 

i know theres a thread about the AMG SL55 merc on the supra club at the moment and that baby has over 700 lbs of torque :eek: so be even more careful when you go against one of them babies ;)

Thats not similiar, its more than 200kg heavier than a zed (2+2 TT).

 

I have'nt looked at Marks spec, but if he has anything over 450hp (flywheel), then I dont see a problem in beating the M6.

they had to electronically limit that torque figure to stop them blowing the gearboxes apart LOL!! :eek:

i wond why the mercs can handle it and not the bmw?? then again hasnt the bmw got a silly 7 speed box or something??

It better be more than 450 at the fly or I've wasted a lot of dosh. + I've taken that much rubbish of this car it must be not far off 100K+ lighter.

 

The new wheels alone have cut the weight by 70K+
