Photos Removed because the 300zx group have infringed my copyright for the second year running by posting the photos on their own web site without seeking permission. (Pulling bandwidth from me - which I have to pay for!)

They did similar last year by posting an article explaining how to bypass my download protection. They did put that one right but they obviously have not learned from the experience!

you hooligans :D

oh dear, thats very dissapointing ! Not a very Internet savvy newspaper then.

We'll cross them of our xmas card list ;)

how childish, they want our details and pictures for nothing, and get pissed cause we send people to see it.

i suggest we contact them and ask for our details to be removed too

i have to say i am very disappointed by that, and will be contacting this e-paper shortly.

to remove the items without contacting us with a simple request to remove the actual linked pictures would have been the more mature thing to do.

its a shame the editor doesn't know or hasn't taken the time to see how we function here, we as a group are proud of our cars and Any event that we attend.

a simple request to remove and just keep the hotlink would have sufficed. however it seems this particular occasion the e-paper wishes to use their site to promote a one sided story.

we will not in future invite this e-paper to any event, i will also ask him to remove his comments and the article from his site.

I have already asked for mt details to be removed, and all pictures to be returned as i did not sign a release.

disgusted by the attitude of them.

There attitude is all wrong.....the picture was linked in discussion about their article, and included their copyright logo ! A Complete misunderstanding of copyright infringement.....They are doing themselves no favours.

..and whats all this about us infriging copyrights last year, and being warned about it....I was the meet organiser and first time I've heard of it

i have sent them an e-mail just waiting for a response, hopefully an amicable outcome will avail, however i feel that in future when an e-paper or any journalist is invited and photos are taken that we produce a copyright waiver form for them to sign. i am going to draw one up for use in future, if they dont sign so wecan use them exclusively on this site then they get no pics.

why should any publication profit from ourselves, the club, and the work we put into our cars and not be prepared to offer something in return.

Ive sent them a bill for using my details and car without a signed release.

absolutely disgusting behaviour from someone making money from us

the other thing he can do is also watermark the images and they would contain a print or display spoiler , thereby preventing such things from happening

ok gents the article in its entirety has been removed from his site and we will no longer be supporting him or his e-paper.

i did offer the chance of removal of pics and keeping the hotlink however it would seem he has just removed it.

i havent found this note on here reguarding bypassing any security of his yet, and drew this to his attention reguarding current publication law.

i do not think it serves his purpose to "print" so to speak such a one sided statement on his site.

this is a copy of the e-mail i sent him earlier, i suggest we draw a close to this and post any picure we have reguarding this day on our site.

e-mail that was sent.

Please can you remove the 300zx ross on wye feature from your e-paper.

As welsh regional events officer for the club I am very disappointed at this course of action you have undertaken. You could have at any time contacted an reo or admin such as myself, we could have removed the picture and kept the hotlink and still maintained a steady route for those who wished to read up on this article on your site.

I am also disappointed at the comments made on your site which I feel are very biased and one sided, I am yet to find the comment on our site which relates to bypassing your security, please note if not found you are bound to remove such comments under current publication law.

We are more than happy to remove the picture links from our site and leave the hotlink, however if you feel this is not good enough please remove the 300zx article in its entirety and we will remove our hotlink to your site , therefore closing any contact that we currently have.

I would prefer an amicable outcome if possible, and would more than be prepared to invite you to next years event, however if you feel this is not possible please remove all details from your site.

Thank you

S Pritchard

well the guy turned up last year and aproached us!!! then asked if he could get some pics and he did the same this year as well because his partner works at the white lion pub,so why is he getting funny about it?, he was fast enough asking if he could take pics but then does this?

i'll be asking him about it myself, i was in contact with him whilst organising the ross meet last year as he put us in contact with the hope via his site,he never emailed me about using the pics of his site, even though he had my email address and details
