Sorry to say its horrible.

A factory ZX has a real nice shape as standard

Im not keen on massive front ends etc.

I just think this takes away the natural flowing lines of a Z

IMO :)

It's been posted a couple of times before, i'm not overly won over by it honestly. The proportions and the lines don't match up.

Alot of work went into it though, respect to the guy for trying

Deffinately. :duffer:

I like this angle;

it's not perfect but I think the door shut line is the worst bit on the zed so anything that cleans that up is good in my book

i agree. i think its horrible. somehow reminds me of the new mr2. think its the front end and lights

Nah! cant say I like that. Im all for individuality but they are trying to turn it into a ferrari or something. :hurl:

somehow reminds me of the new mr2.

Now that's a car I can't stand. Toyota took a HUGE backward step when they launched that. Not only is the 'look' wrong, but the thing looks so cheap and nasty.

i agree si. it looks terrible. they are trying to compete with the mazda mx5 and are not doing very well. personally i dont like the mazda either but its the best selling roadster and is in a different league to the toyota

Agreed, the new facelift MX-5 has gone one facelift too far. Bit like Michael Jackson really. Have you seen one of the new ones driving towards you. Doesn't it remind you of a kit car?....or is it just me?

hmm yes the new MX5 is a styling disaster, then again they never were very pretty. S2000 is the only Roadster worth having imo.

MX5 is one of those styling cop outs for people who want to be seen in a sporty car but want to remain inoffensive, pfft.

Right, time to go against popular opinion. I think it's more than a good attempt, the level of work and the sheer amount of custom fabrication is astounding, this is not just an variation on the theme of an existing kit it's completely one-off and "props" to them for that alone. I DO think they f*cked up the styling but not by as much of a margin as people think. With a few design changes this could've been a great looking car. The front (IMO) is pretty darn good but needs to lose the silly grill. It's the back end and the door swage lines where it really goes to pot. Lose these and add some bigger and better wheels and (again IMHO ;)) it transforms the look of the car. Below is a quick photochop of what I mean:
