Do you think having a US style number plate on the back of my Zed would be cheesey?

Thinking about getting one made up when I go over for the back of the car since the shape is the same. Will give it a more exotic look.

should be a jap plate really. but looks kinda cool. in an american cheezy type of way :x:

I know. But they look as plain as UK plates.

I love the US plates. Since there's so many Zeds in the states, I thought it might be kinda cool....

Must admite not over keen myself, but it's up to you.

Illegal Mate.

Has to be correct type face and background has to be legal too.

are they legal here ? In regards to Typeface, spacing, colours

Do I care? LOL My front plate isnt exactly legal and I'm sure with a yank plate on, it'll just be taken as another foreign car...darn, it looks exotic enough being a Z! LOL

One of my friends has an old Mustang and he has a Yank plate on it. Never had any problems.

dont think they are as dont think they are reflective + i think rear plate has to be yellow.

I know there is a requirement on letter size and spacing been pulled on that one myself, i personally dont think it would be legal

ahh, right. Makes sense. Might be worth speaking to somebody Like Lymon, who runs Zed specialist garage DTA Motorsport in the Netherlands, about sourcing a LHD from europe.

Zeds are crazy money in Europe. Also, they only go the 2+2 TT like us AFAIK.

thats why i wanna go US, as i want a SWB TT Targer

Why not have USA W*NK..........Sorry YANK.

Funny you mention the plate as I've retained my UK plates on my skyline out here in Canada. Most North americans have never seen a bright yellow plate, It actually draws as much attention the car!!!
