Just took delivery of my new Nokia N80 on 3G. The things they can fit into a little box now a days is wonderful? LOL.

The camera is absofookinlutely excellent. 3 MP and the images are great. I like the slip front as opposed to the flip front Kinda like the Samsung D range.

The video Mp4 real player pl;ay back is also crystal clear. and guess what....It works well as a phone too.

I just thought you might like to know incase you are thinking of an upgrade.

I have had the 6680 for the last year and that was a good phone apart from the need to re-boot it every few days or so. I have had very few problems with3G aswell. OK its not as good coverage as VodaFone but its done me proud. I am going to let my VodaFone go when its up for renewal this year and just stick to 3G. I am just off to get a bigger memory card for it.

I've got the 6280 as well and its a cracking phone, use that as my business phone day to day and the battery life is spot on, i only charge twice a week

I've got the one below that, the N70. Uses pretty much the same software. I like the phone, but find it hideously slow at times and the camera struggles to initialise at times...infact, quite often.

I am struggling between getting an 02 XDA mini 2 or waiting 2 months for the new N93..

Has anyone had an XDA mini 2?

I aint sure Si but have you tried to re-boot it on a regular basis? I am expecting this one to be the same as it seems quite common on these "smart phones". I turn it off and remove the battery for a minute or so and then turn it all back on every 3 or 4 days. If you aint tried it give it a go it worked for me mate.

Doesn't the N80 have that function where if you take a photo it takes nine more, some before, some after you push the button so you can choose the best?

What I want to know is how it knows when you're about to take a photo?

my mates got the n90 or n91.......one or the other....its does bloody everything.....

That's the sony k800 i think? Did look at that and it's 3.2 megapixel but didn't have half the features of the N80

Radio, mp3, wireless internet browsing, email etc

Yes - that's it, you're right!

Sorry - I'm not very up on phones.

The k800 has a proper flash which must be good.

The most useful thing on my k750 is the very good LED torch.

The phone one was handy walking home form a night club (no taxis available) on the weekend at 3am and stopping for a bit of crystal meth on the way to make the journey go faster.

As for all these clever phones, let me know when there's one that'll tell me the nearest place I can get me cock sucked for a tenner and I'll upgrade then ;)

same phone and problems here Si. Also today the battery is refusing to charge at all, nothing happens when I plug the charger in, so the phone is now dead. Should be under warranty as I only bought it in March.

Did she tell you not to lend it to anyone ?

Just dont get an N70, the menus are sooooooooooo slow (esp compared to an N80!) and it just lacks nokias normal polish. Bloody thing unlocks itself often, the camera slider opens in your pocket oh the list gos on. N80 is much better though as long as you can cope with the size of it
