Maccas isnt running any, its not running lol

Soz Ian :)

Kirbz isnt far off, Russ, depending on how its going with him, not heard from him in ages.

there are a couple dotting about that arnt members of teh forum.

think mine will get up to 400ish when engine etc is in.

what is the most bhp you can get with the engine?

All depends on how deep your pockets are. JUN had 1200-1400 bhp out of theirs back in 93 I believe. There are many with 600, 700, 800+ in the states

i knew maccas was right up there...was hoping he had let slip to someone what he was getting!!

yeah i would also like to know, but im a nosy ******* who likes to know everything lol

Macca was getting 500 rwhp, but was limited by the fuel pump I believe. He was waiting to further mapping and is/was expecting quite a bit more in the future.

of the members on the forum -

i think it is

boomin33

macca

kirbz

but its difficult to knowexactly because they all need to be put on the same dyno on the same day - however i think that macca blew his gearbox and kirbz blew his engine - so it looks like boomin33 has the title at the moment (if he's still running :wack: )

alex

p.s. i know of a couple fo nisstek cars up there but i dont think they are on the forum.

There are a lot running around the 400 to 440 RWHP Mark, but I am only going to make mine flow a bit better and buy a either a Westfield XTR4 or a Radical for Track daying as 400RWHP is enough for everyday use.

What ever HP you get out of these cars it costs a lot and the Chasis isn't a racing car.

are there a lot at that horsepower ? i know there are a lot at 420 ish at the flywheel - that is in the t28 hybrid and 555 injector range. To get 420 - 440 at the wheels is imprsssive

Aye mine was at 479 RWHP and MACS was at 505 RWHP, from memory Boomin's car was at 530 but thats not at the wheels as his turbos would not do that at 1.2 bar so at a rough guess his is running at 1.2 bar arounf 450-460 RWHP.

I know the guy i bought a plenum off is running about 500 at the wheels as well but he doesnt come on here and i believe theres a car being built in this country with a similar spec to mine with 20g turbos!! so like me will be looking for over 600 at the wheels :)

Once ive finished building mine, i'm (well my dad) building someone elses project which should see 550 at the wheels in a slicktop ;) so that should be interesting

The futures bright

Whats halfway between 400 and 440. :slap: + I said around that way I wouldn't offend the people who have shown 431 and 429 on dynos, but I expect mine to be around the 420 RWHP ish once I've got my Emerald ECU on it and no MAFS and rolling road set up.

Let me get another 3000 miles on her and all my snagging list sorted.

Thats my target anyway.

Always suprises me the difference in cost to getting more bhp from a zed to something like an s14! To get mid 300 bhp (ie 100over stock) in a 200sx doesnt cost anywhere near as much as it seems to run 400bhp (ie 100 over stock give or take) in a zed! (RWHP)

Not saying anything against a zed, i love it, its great, but certainly does seem to eat cash for more power, and to be honest, stock +extra boost +chip just doesnt feel fast to me = lots of cash!

Yeah, did some mapping on it last week as it never got finished before the last engine blew and the low speed driveability was awful (big cams, no VTC, dual intake, low compression, big turbos). Is very quick on boost though, haven't had it on the dyno yet with new engine.

think its running T28's if i remember right :)

nice guy, just goes to show that for every zed we have on this club there prob a dozen others out there and no doubt some running big power

you misuderstand me mate - i know of a lot of zeds at 420 at the fly - very very few at the wheels - that was my only point!

Alex,

Did you get yours mapped in the end? Would be nice to see how you got on with the 16G's & pentroof manifolds

400RWHP is about 160 rwhp over stock, and is close to 500 fly, which is a 200+ fwhp increase over stock.

Did you mean fwhp?, if so there are some out there running close to 400 fwhp with Main problem is that you start hitting fuel limitations at those figures on stock injectors.
