Just wanted to share my days worth of bitter disappointment with you!

Went to see a 100nx today, was supposed to go to Warrington to view one but changed my mind last minute and went to Sunderland to view one instead. It sounded nice, when I got there it was an old couple, the guy said the car was sound. Looked round it to find a hole under the passenger front wheel arch near the suspension, i'm assuming it was the strut tower i was warned about, the clutch needs a slave cylinder, the drive shaft has gone/is going, it clunks alot, windscreen needs replacing as it leaks, one of the gas struts for the boot has gone, minor. He said it failed MOT in June cos it needed new shock absorbers, these he replaced and it then passed but i'm wondering now how on earth it passed even after he replaced them. He was asking £450 for it, OH offered him £250 due to work involved, he said no. He's gonna get to repair prices but doubt i'll be going back.

Just wanted to tell you all.

I'll sell you a 200SX turbo that need less work "and more fun" for £250 but it's in Scotland

There's a sunny coupe for sale on lock lane in castleford for £450.Don't know what it's like but it's nearer than sunderland.

no no no no no.. you need whippin to withing an inch of your life for even contemplating buying a 100nx.. one of THE ugliest cars ever IMO. Go 200sx instead, far better.

Yep and it's not that rotten.. Inner wings need a couple a small plates but the sills are solid even inside the rear arch where they normally go. Rear arches are ****ed but it not that bad .. If you wan't it be fast as it's going drifting at Crail next weekend other wise

Where do i start?

First off, I'm only just starting driving lessons (ouch!), secondly, I would be changing the front headlights IMMEDIATELY and finding a lovely spoiler, thirdly, insurance is expensive enough for a 100 never mind a 200!!!!

I'll do a quote or 2 and see how it goes, but must ask, what colour is it and is it manual, don't want an auto. Also, when you say needs less work, what kind of work are we talking? It is taxed or MOT'd?

If OH allows, would you be willing to meet anywhere for collection of it? Otherwise would have to find a cheaper way to collect than train, only option really.

It needs a bit of welding I was gona do it but have to many other things on at the moment. The car's red and it's it not got any MOT as it was imported and stuck in a garage for ages. All the papers are there for it and it's been HPI'd.. It's got a cracking interior and engine and box are fine. I'm just gona drift the tit's off it then break the rest :)

Right colour, shame its an import, i'll see what OH says and do an insurance quote if he says its ok. Reckon insurance'll be through the roof tho been an import. I'll let you know either way. Cheers
