28!!!! my rims are on the floor at 28, i have 40 in the front at the mo and that looks and feels about right, where can i get this info from!!

I have 265/30/19's and the garage said they should be 34 all round. I ran mine on 30 for a while & the side wall nearly collapesed (fook knows how ya spell that lol) They told me running an lower than 34 will cause the tyre to deform & run on the wall on the inside due to the camber of the wheel. When they took it off to replace it they could not believe thay it hadn't blown as the whole wall had disintergrated leaving the tyre fully of rubber bits. Very lucky escape, you have no way of knowing what state its like from th outside.

I run my 19's on about stock pressure. 235/35/19 front , 265/30/19 rear

33-34 front

36 rear

Tyre pressures measured when cold.

The rear should be harder than the fronts.

Feels perfect. I was told that size of wheels/tyres does not affect the pressure, only the weight of the vehicle.

When i first got my zed i didnt realise that the bigger tyres often dont look deflated when they have less than 20psi or even 15psi. I was driving my zed and the front right tyre came of the rim duh!

I check pressure twice a week now with a simple rod thingy pressure gauge. They are not super accurate but i will know if a tyre has not enough pressure.

cheers for the replies chaps, felt bad under 35 and terrible at 30-32, 34f 36 rear sounds abour reyt for my car. nice one!

man, i dont seem to be able to get away with as little as 36 in the front, they actually look flat, i have 44 in at the mo and they seem great, tried to get down to 36 and i cant. am i menkle?

Andy Duff  had some clever formula based on an increase in pressure as the type profile (height) decreases.

I'd say 36psi all round.

I was getting a lift back from Cardiff today (200-odd miles). We checked the tyre pressures on my mate's Citroen. One had 4psi in it!

Laugh? I nearly went to Ethiopia! Second class, of course.

nice one bee gee, i have falcons, they are toyo right?

and coopers on the back i dont know who they are, i could manage 39 and 41, but not any lower.
