Result! After sending my old set of goodridge hoses that were supposed to fit a zed back to the exeter section of goodridge the new kit arrived this week. Fitted perfectly! Pedal feel is better and brakeing is more effective!

For those guys holding on to a duff kit with incorrect fitment I contacted;

I hope you dont mind me dragging this up, but I just aquired some Goodridge hoses.

I dont want to start the job and find they are the wrong ones. What is the difference and can I spot it without attempting to fit, thanks.

If i remember the adapters you get with the hoses are the wrong thread i.e.are either male when they should be female or the other way around.Hope this sort of helps :)

all 4 hoses I have are female at both ends, can anyone confirm this is correct?

I really dont want to run into problems in the garage mid-fit.

I've had a set of these hoses sat in my shed for about 9 months now for this very same reason. Shame I never spotted this post before.

Ollie, if no-one else responds to this I'll try to have a look tomorow morning, but I'm off to work in a few mins so haven't got time now.

The problem only affects a small number of Zeds. Nissan used whatever connectors they had available at the time and this changed from time-to-time.

Basically, most cars have female ends on the car so the goodridge hoses with female ends and male-to-male adapters are fine. However, some cars have metric male ends on the car which won't fit the above kit. Goodridge can provide the correct adapters to make this kit work with the above setup.

I've been working with Goodridge over the past year to get them to manufacture the kit with the correct ends and adapters - this will then cover all the bases. This has now been put into practice and current kits should work on 100% of the cars. I'm in the process of procuring some adapters to make the old kits work but it is taking quite some time. I've been in touch with James Wills on several occasions and he's been most helpful.
