YES bud ....as i was the ONLY N/A on the last run  and would be nice to see what time's you get :) ...my best was 9:48 from 3 run's.....

...

If I still have my Zed (which looks possible) then the one in June sounds spot on. Better weather in my opinion.

iam 50/50 if i can afford to go this time as iam racing a few weeks before with the scumball 3000

OK people .....the Date's for the run are ::: sunday 20th to friday 25th of may.....or.....sunday 27th to friday 1st June..............
You may not care, but as far as I can tell "Rock Am Ring" is on from June 2nd-4th. There may be a fair bit of setting up involved in the days leading up to it and the Ring may well be heaving.

Edit: Hang on, those may be the 2006 dates. bear with me.

Edit2: Seems like the 2007 dates haven't been announced yet, but it's possibly worth keeping an eye on.

Rock AM Ring....keeping an eye on it sound's like a good plan as we don't want 1/2 of Germany on there... ;) when we are there....

thank's wozza...

I just meant that you've committed to going whereas I haven't yet. I have to see how things are nearer the time, unfortunately.

I think it makes sense to avoid Rock Am Ring, and ideally the lead up to it, as well as any other major events there, but it may not be possible to avoid everything. The Ring haven't published their opening times for 2007 yet, so it's a bit of a lottery at the moment. It would be best, obviously, to be there on a couple of days when the track is open all day, rather than for just a couple of hours in the evening, if possible.

all info now on 1st page .....

fair play bud ....only one thing the Ring is only open ALL DAY at the weekend and that mean's very busy......and more people Die at the weekend's so i thought it would be better on a week day ..... ;)

Best time out of 3 lap's 9:10...looking to get 8:30 if poss .... :D

do you guy's wanna stay in the same Hotel in A'dam ,,or some where else..?????

....

A have a co-driver coming as well. Would anyone mind if we used his golf gti rather than my z? Would love to take the z but the fuel, international insurance would be a pain, oh yeah it would probably break before we got there!

Also the ring is not really a power track and a gti would be good out there, could maybe use it as a backup car for people that dont wana take their z out on the track also, for example if its wet etc.

Are we going on the train or the boat? My mate went to france on the train and i think he paid about 25 quid return for his car which i think is well cheap.

Noisier vehicles are excluded from driving on the Nordschleife

MORE info to come... ;)

..

;) some Rules......

..Visit the Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. Completed in 1927, this unique race course has always fascinated everyone.

Idols such as Rudolf Caracciola, Manfred von Brauchitsch, Hermann Lang, Juan Manuel Fangio or Graf Berghe von Trips wrote motor sports history here. Jackie Stewart reverently christened the serpentines through the impressive landscape of the Eifel "The Green Hell".

To drive in your own car or on your own motorcycle around the course is a special challenge. To master the 20.8-km-long Nordschleife course requires that the driver constantly re-evaluates his/her driving capabilities and also him-/herself ander high demands.

The Nordschleife is not a modern race course. Blind bends, blind, treacherous crests, steep inclinations as well as constantly changing road covering, and thus different frictional resistances make the Nordschleife one of the most demanding challenges for every motor sports fan.

At the same time it is regarded as the probably "most beautiful road in the world".

The decisive advantage: there is no oncoming traffic to impede taking the ideal line. However, other drivers driving along the course must be respected, making some rules necessary, in the interest of everyone's safety.

Opening times Nordschleife, see following schedule or call +49 (02691) 302-144.

Emergency telephone number (access road to Nordschleife), best stored in mobile telephone

+49 (2691) 302-215.

;)

OH yes

I did think the ferry back to hull was brill because I was in such a tacking i couldn't have dive all the way to Calis afer a full nights achohol and substance abuse + 1 hours kip. I'm in for this and the finish at Bruge but I'll book the Ferry back to hull so I can chill.

i like the sound of this but my car aint fit for the ring an i doubt my drivin is either

been looking at my calander and i think i can do this, my only issue would be, getting on and off the ferry, my car isnt the most practical of cars. would be gud to unleash her and let her go.
