Lots of people on my street have taken to parking half on the road, half on the pavement.

There's proper parking but it's 20 yards away.

The way they park now it partially blocks the pavement which is difficult for the elderly and mothers with prams (and means I have to do a 27 point turn to get my car onto my drive).

Is what they're doing illegal?

Is there anyway it can be stopped without having to start a war with them?

Hmm... maybe I should just run out into the street in my boxers with a dirty vest on and a can of Hoffmeister shouting stuff, then bite one of their noses off.

That's the only sort of language people seem to understand these days.

Yes it is Illegal to park on the pavment

Cheers!

I shall have to stab them all in the back by grasssing them up to the council or someone then.

Somehow I don't think it would work if you did it. Better get a large mate to do it for you.

lol - just what are you trying to insinuate? That I'm some kind of scrawny weakling?

Maybe you could come round with a hammer or one of your shoes and sort them out?

Hey leave scrawny out of this it's nothing to do with him ;)

use your key mate, then they will think twice, and they cant do you for damage as they were obstructing a public right of way!

Pleasure mate. Right let talk terms shall we. I'll draw up a nice contract and you can sign it in your own blood. I don't come cheap, my methods ain't pleasant but they're proven to work.

Problem solved when the council scrape up the carnage

What ARE those things?

There was a box of them in the basement when I moved into this house.

I'm going to sling them on a bonfire at the weekend - they don't seem to be of any use.

Petrol mixed with vaseline over the bodywork spelling out "p*ss off" then set fire?

Looks awesome when you get the mixture right

Exactly - it is only acceptable if there are signes in adjacent lamp posts etc with a picture of a car with 2 wheels on the kurb. Usually there are also white lines on the pavement indicating how far cars are allowed to encroach on the footpath.

Richard :)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
