Hi guys,

There's an Isle of Man meet being organised for 29th september on the rotary forum. We'll be doing the circuit and then the TT mountain roads. Its looking likely that we'll be able to get the mountain road closed off for the day :) . Jtuner will be doing a feature so you'll get your car in the magazine. You pay for the ferry ticket yourself and then pay on the rotary forum for the circuit. Its looking like an excellent day. There's vids of last year and it looked amazing.

How much is it going to be for a non Mazda club person(for the circuit) I know you have to do your own feryy and accomodation.

Its £80 for a non-member. The circuit is Jurby: some fast straights, some twisties and lots of run off ! Should be a cracking weekend Pete :) Pretty cheap as well for a weekends worth.

 

We're staying on a campsite.

Have done the "Manx Rally" several times in the seventies! Always loved the Mountain stage.

My parents (when they were alive) lived in Ramsey, so Im pretty familiar with The Island.

Hmm Tempted. Trouble is BOTH daughters will want to come too!

Many many happy memories. All of course tinged now wth a little sadness. Dad would have been there for sure.

Dave, do you arrive on the 29th or is that when it starts and you arive a bit earlier, reason being is I leave the island on the morning of the 29th to travel over for japfest 2 and was hoping to take yer out for a spin :)

At the moment I'm arriving on the Friday evening I think, but I might try and change my ferry tickets to the thursday maybe to make it a bit more of a holiday :) Would be good to go for a spin and see the island with someone who knows.
