Just wondering who has fitted red stuff pads and how much did you pay?

I just got some for £85 and was gonna fit them at the weekend.

Are they any good on standard discs.

Scrawn.

I used to have red stuff pads and I must admit they are absolutely crap. They are OK once warmed up but until then they are toss. I can't remember how much I paid for mine but whatever it was it was too much. I don't know if they are any good on standard discs but even on grooved discs they were shit.

Porterfield pads are very good.

I have Red stuff pads and they are better than they used to be as they have changed the compound!

They have great bite even from cold now!

They had to review the compound due to previous problems with fade/break up and dust But they are really good now and there is a new writeup which i will post up later...

The only others i would use are tha yellow stuff pads :)

I almost got the porterfield pads but I like to use my local shop and he couldn't get them.

I have use red and green stuff on cross drilled and grooved discs and was never happy until i fitted evo 8 calipers and 350z 324mm discs, stops now.

I know there was an issue with using ceramic pads on drilled discs as the drilling can weaken them and ceramic pads will crack them!

If you are going to use these Red stuff/Yellow stuff or Blue stuff pads you should use stock discs or grooved only!

There has been alot of review's on scoobynet.co.uk as i have been told!

Their was an article also on All the range of EBC's new compound and they were Track tested vigerously in a Subaru by a Race driver but i can't find it anywhere:(

You may have to do a search yourself!
