Can the standard Nissan master cylinder pump enough fluid for the size of the R34 calipers all round?

Im taking it they are bigger than standard calipers.

Just that I can get the pedal to hit the floor. Now theres no way I use it down that far, I would head but the steering wheel, but its not right to be able to hit the floor.

Just changed fluid, pumped 2 litres through, no air that I can find. Pedal feels the same now as it did when I got the car, even after changing fluid.

Kinda, but you can still push it down to the floor. Its not really easy, but you can do it and you shouldnt.

Dont think the m/c is fooked, but maybe its not at its best.

I know when I upgraded my bike calipers, i didnt do the m/c and it wasnt big enough to pump fluid for the bigger caliper, you could still stop but it wasnt right. Then I put the right m/c and it was fine.

Sounds like you havn't bled the pipes propperly.

If you start from the furthest from the M/C and work towards the nearest, with slow half pedal pumps that will sometimes work better than full pumps.

I don't know about the ABS, maybe someone can tell us if and where to bleed it.

I've done it in order and the ABS actuator.

2 litres, theres no air.

Im just not sure the m/c is suited for bigger calipers, which I think the r34 ones are.

Everyone uses stock M/C with skyline or bigger brakes.

It Sounds like your Master cylinder seal is leaking.

How much is a m/c seal kit and is it easy to do?

The Kit is around £50 from nissan. I have'nt done it myself though.

Its been known for the problem to occur when fitting new brakes. If you pushed the pistons back in order to fit the pads into the calipers without releasing the bleed nipple and using a line lock then the fluid is pushed back into the master cylinder which "can" force the seal to flip over backwards, causing it to leak.
