Got a bit carried away and accidentally sprayed a small amount of waxoil onto the belts. No problems running however when I turn on the heater/aircon, there is a squeeling noise from the belts. Is there an easy way to get this stuff off the belt?

try a tin of spray on brake cleaner fella, its solvent based and cleans pretty much anything of anything :)

I would be careful spraying anything corrosive onto belts in the engine, you don't want to damage them or your engine. I would suggest a mild degreaser, or even washing up liquid.
