Starts after 5 seconds from cold.

 

Not alternator

Pretty sure its not the p/s pump but cant get belt off so not 100% sure.

 

Anything else it could be, like cam belt idle pulley, water pump anything???

 

Goes once warm but a little worried.

Hello mate,

 

over the last week or two I had noticed a slight noise. I know my p.s pump is dodgy as the steering is occasionaly heavy. took it today to another forum members(craig-s) to do service. :bow: On taking everything apart p.s pump is leaking but also found excessive play on tensioner pulley and worryingly one of the idle pulley was in a very bad way-stiff. Could have been potentially very nasty. So hopefully getting them sorted.

could be a knackered torque convertor if its an auto,
