Water everywhere!

I was driving last nite on back roads when I went down a dip that had flooded, I did not have time to stop & the water went right up my bonnet causing the car to cut out (expected). I waited a bit 4 it 2 dry out a bit & then it started, but it is now really tappy, I was only 2 minutes from my house, so have not driven far. I was wondering could the water have mixed with oil as it the dreaded white stuff in the oil cap! :( I was thinkin of flushing it through to give it a good clean out.

Any othe ideas please advise, thanks
