I notice that quite a few of the tuned zeds have their aircon removed.

why not install some ducting pipes that would redirect ice cold air into the engine bay or around the intercoolers at the flick of a switch - is this possible?

Featured Replies

Those that remove it , do so for weight and becuase it blocks the rad, so better cooling without it.

Aircon would use more power to operate than it would probably benefit for cooling the engine bay.

If only there was a way to run it with the turbo timer so it would pump th eair into the engine bay after it wasnt needed!

It would be good if you could redirect your ice cold air to the intercooler to further cool your intake, or better still if you could furter cool your intake air nearer the plenemn

A bit pointless really because to make the ice cold air the unit pumps the heat extracted to the condenser in front of the radiator where it adds to engine bay heat. It is only fit to cool the cars innards for comfort not for the amount of air an engine can drink.
