taking it in tomoz for partial 60k service. downloaded the how to. just wondering if anyone has any extra advice or deffo do's and donts for the mechanic. also what size hose for a matrix bypass? i think the matrix is at it too!!!

its a fairly simple job for anyone competent.

I changed all the pulley's & tensioner on mine too (120k kit)

 

only thing to note is you need to wind a bolt into the side of the tensioner to stop the thing opening up before removing it.

only thing to note is you need to wind a bolt into the side of the tensioner to stop the thing opening up before removing it.

Also put the tensioner back using a G clamp and then tightened the bolt. Do not use the bolt to force it back or the bracket will break.

Also watch the woodruff key when putting the crank pulley back on to make sure it stays straight. if it does move just tap it back into line using a long screwdriver and a small hammer.
