1995 N/A Auto 2+2. (bog standard throughout)

I've noticed that the dashboard display is very poorly lit at night despite the variable setting on max. I have difficulty seeing the numbers. (I am getting a bit old and I may need to change my glasses). Prior to this Z, I had an X reg Silvia Turbo with a similar problem. A mate of mine who serviced it for me simply replaced the bulbs with staggering effect.

Is it a simple job to do the same on a Z, or is it a question of "dashboard out"?

Any ideas?

Getting the dash binnacle out is fairly simple on a zed, need to remove the control pods, top column cover, top lid and lower surround. 15 min job for a newbie, after much trouble with a speedo convertor, I have it down to 5 mins now :p
