Want to fit a tt diff into my n/a Z.

Someone on ebay got the bits, so just need to know what I need.

Don't want any hicas stuff.

I'm assuming the driveshafts and cv joints are stronger so I'll need those.

Willthe diff and shafts fit into my back end or do I need any more bits, ie

hubs and hubshafts etc. also are the back brakes much bigger on tt?

Ta.

The rear subframe is different and won't accept a TT diff so would need changing too.

Fitting a TT diff to an NA would make it slower as the final ratio in the TT diff is higher than the NA's so isn't really a worth while mod.

I believe he changing it for strength when fitting a V8 in it

Leader gears do a NA diff gear kit, which is as strong/stronger than the TT set, but with the NA ratio.

Yes, changing it for strength, lsd, and better ratio. The Chevy would pull a lot taller gear than the tt ratio but will have to stick with that.

So I'll need the subframe as well then.

Don't suppose you know if the tt hubs/bearings are different/stronger?

I transplanted a Jag powerloc diff into my Cosworth subframe last time, but don't want all that hassle again if I can avoid it.

Sorry to resurrect this one, just got the tt subframe with the diff and all the suspension arms and hubs still on. I know I'll have to use the subframe but does anyone know if any parts on my n/a back end are identical to the tt bits. I only ask cos the tt bits are quite rusty, whereas my bits are like new.
