around £1700-£2000,have just been offerd £800 through a valuation agency(admit they got to make a living and need thier cut)but not sure,is it possible to DIY this(they take care of all the work to)if so any ideas or how much it would cost.cheers.

I thought it was just an £80 transfer fee, and paperwork through DVLA. But I could be wrong ;)

Just been offerd £900 :) from another reg service comp,as for DIY i will scout around the net and see what it entails.

I had my old plate "M6 RVR" from my MG ZT valued at £500 by an agency and sold it for £800 last year on EBay. Stick it on EBay auction Tony. Or you could have a look on http://www.regtransfers.co.uk and see what they are selling similar number for.

 

It costs £80 to transfer and £25 to hold it on retention. (or there abouts)?? Then £25 per year there after.
