Somebody must know?

You will always have a slight amount of oil in there, but too much can be a worn turbo.

How much are we talking about here? Just a slight coating around the inside of the pipe? or more?

its not in the pipe, I can see it on the outside of the pipe seeping out from where the pipe joins to the rest of the pipework. It's not enough to drip (just half a teaspoon full smeared around the join - but it's enough to cause me enough concern to ask you guys.

Maybe the pipe is not tight enough have you tried tightening the clamp? if oil is leaking out of there then so will air be leaking too!

Strange whistling noises are a good sign of a boost leak - tighten it up.

If there's not too much oil it's nothing to worry about.

Whistles like crazy from -7 psi to 0 psi - then it pulls like a goodun with no bad noises.

I will tighten it up tonight and take it for a spin - I will let you know. As for the amount of oil - its not even a drip yet - but I am always checking the car over so I noticed it straigt away.

I would advise you to check them all! :)
