Exactly!!! 1350 rwhp 300ZX Engine. Thats about 1620 PS right?

I couldnt believe it at first but now i've heard it from a reliable source.

This monster is builded by a mechanic here in Limassol (Cyprus)

This is engine is fitted on a FORD Escord 4-wheel drive and did 9.2 sec at 1/4 mile at last years drag racing. That's when it has twin T-66 turbos.

Here is the car racing before T-72 upgrade

http://www.cyprusracingcars.com/forum/videos/ford_300zxeng_vs_fordt51r.wmv

Now is upgraded with twin T-72 and 150 shot of NOS and at the dyno it did 1350 at the wheels.

Is really amazing what VG30 can do. If we had more space to fit larger turbos then making 1000+ hp wouldnt be a problem.

Just looked at that video and it seems speeded up as the people are moving way too fast in the Background

Agreed - I can't see any evidence of "speed tampering" :D

Doesn't look speeded up to me, a little jerky due to the frame rate maybe. Seems a bit of a ridiculous figure but I'd like to see it.

I was present at the Drag event and i took videos of that run.

If you think the video is speed up you are totally WROOOOONG.

is that the intercoolers located behind the radiator?!?!? :x:

could have got 1800RWHP if he relocated them to a cooler place!!

Er... do we all hate this guy or something? Every time he comes on here and posts about somebody doing mad things with the zed engine people just rip it out of him even when he shows us the dyno sheet. Come on guys, be nice. I'd like to see a lot more people taking the Z32 engine to the max - if I had the funds I'd do it myself. You're not telling me with the right mods and tuning you couldn't end up with a car that would give all these high power Supras and Skylines a run for their money. (Yeah, yeah, I know it's harder to work on because you have to take the engine out to do anything, but the point still stands that if you've got the time and money, it can be done.)

thats cool but whats in the black one?, it beat the white one

HKS T51R SPL Turbo on the black one. 870rwhp. Reaction time of the black one was better than white thats why it got beat.

White one time was 9.2sec

Black one was 9.5sec (but with better reaction time)

Also the best 1/4 mile of the white one (with Z engine) is 8.7 sec. That was at the Drag Event in Greece few months back.

Very impressive!-now if you could just squeeze all that under the bonnet! LOL! :wack:

Wow! Thats amazing looking. I wish everything wasn't so expensive here. I'm sure its half the reason we're behind everyone else. We ought to be AHEAD over here seeing as we generally have cooler weather to run in!

Have you any idea how the engine stands up to repeated runs? How often does it need fixing?

To be honest if its making that much power then I'd expect it to start making even faster times if it could get the power down? The Rx7s over here did a 9.6sec the other week and its probably only running half that power. I think in Australia they are running reguarly in the 8secs with rotary engines. Great to see the VG32DETT getting such awesome times as well, proves it can be done. I think the engine gets unfairly looked upon due to all the problems with the many sheds that are out there. Its obviously a very good engine.

Paul C is right though! the intercoolers would have been more efficient if they were located in another possition other than inbetween the radiator and engine. :)

Not much more silly than putting a heffing great front mount intercooler in front of your radiator though as lots do because they look good. Charge temps may be very important but so is engine cooling so I'm not sure it makes all that much difference?? I don't actually know what I'm talking about though :) so maybe I'm completely wrong? Still good side mounts are better IMO on the Zed

Right some of you boys need to get your "how to make an appology" manual out. Read it and make one to this fella.

Some of us on here might like some more info an how they got round some problems, BUT NO you bunch of know it all's through you 10p in and start slating off people. If you kno0w so flipping much and can prove them wrong, stand up and make a ****ing car that can do it your way.

Yes I am getting ****ing fed up with some of you bitching all the time.

dont reply to me. im not ****ing intrested

Impressive power output. I want that Intake plenum !

There are a few Zed's in the states with constant mid 9 sec runs with half that power and they are Full weight, daily driver zeds, so I expect we will see some better times to come from that escort in the future, with a lighter chassis, 4wd and that much power.
