Not specifically on 5 but depending on how bad the leak is it could cause a number of problems, like poor tickover.

thanks ill fix the leak then fingers crossed.deffo only on no5 though but idle is all over :(

leak fixed still got a miss.changed coil packs over no difference.gonna try swapping a plug next.cross fingers :)

Damo, I had the same problem. I changed the coil and the plugs but nothing. In the end it turned out to be was the fact that the PTU plugs were not connected correctly. Have a look at them sometime.

I have an uneven tickover which recovers with the aircon selected on. Perhaps yours is the same, perhaps someone somewhere knows of some electronic scheduling etc that would explain this?

if i turn the aircon on the revs drop :( ill take a look at the ptu at the same time.tnx.i have had the intake manifold off so i guess it could be allsorts :(
