Does anyone have black and white rear plates on their Zed?

I know not strictly legal, but I might get some of those old style plates - black with white/silver lettering as per pre-1973 reg cars.

Just wondering if anyone has them....I do remember seeing a Zed on here with the old style rear plate.

Nice for shows anyway....besides, if you have a nice short private plate like mine, it almost looks like a GBG plate anyway, so at a glance, would appear normal....

OR, I might get a yank plate for it when I go to California next month....or would that look cheesey on a RHD car?

Yeah, they are the ones. Except mine would be a single line, not 2 lines and no border.

:D

I wanted one when I got my car but they wouldn't sell me one

if you tell the manufacturer they are for display only there is no reason legally they will not supply them to you.

They may ask you to sign a disclaimer but thats not a problem.

I've seen cars with those black and silver plates and I'm not a fan.

Each to their own and all that but I think they somehoe look more obvious than a regular one simply as they're different.

I used to have some on my Black Carlton GSi!!

Uber pimp yo!!! :D
