Standard Jack

Hi all,

 

 

Need to get the wheels off today to check brakes pads / bearings etc.

Is the standard jack or actually any car jack ok to use?

    Yes, but make sure you have axle stands to support the car as well.

    Yep, nothing wrong with using the car jack,placement HERE (2 Pole lifting points are the same as jack lifting points)

     

    SAFETY*** The jack is fine for changing a wheel, but NEVER work under a car purely supported by a jack alone, ALWAYS use axel stands!!!!*******
