Question: have been lookin around the forum a bit... and been reading odd posts here n there (you know all the interesting ones, the fighting ones...) and quite a few people have mentioned that since the 'NEW' members have joined this place has become 'sh it' - so to say....

 

so i'm kinda feelin a little vunerable - and just want to clear my head... i'm rather new still... and well --> i always take thigns to heart.. thats just me... so does the 'new members' mean like ALL NEW MEMBERS - including me? ? ?

Somehow I doubt it, no need to worry. I'm new too and I just ignore it, no need getting stressed about it I'm sure it's said in 'the best possible taste.' LOL

oh f*uck no, i dont like startin and s*hit stiring --> i'm just not in the right frame of mind lately, and when you're down coz of other crap... and some people say 'THE NEW MEMBERS' (me being one of them) I just think the whole world is out to get me! :cry:

There's been some great new members join recently - but as with any society/community/group, there will always be some who don't want to "play the game" - that's life :(

 

The more people that join and contribute the easier and more pleasant Zed ownership becomes.

 

I'm looking forward to meeting a lot of those I've not met before at JAE and have already made good friends with several people since joining.

Enjoy the place. I've only been here a year or so (just a high post count cause I have it on all day at work!). Its like a playground on here sometimes but don't take it to heart. We love you!

I've been on here since last september and it's only been recently that trouble's started brewing. It'll right itself soon enough :D

I have been here for over a year now and at least once a month someone complains about new members. I used to wonder/worry if I was the subject of thier complaints but ended up not taking any notice.

 

They are called the forum police. and if they had thier way the members list would be about 10 strong. Some people dont like change.

I think alot of it comes from as its become bigger, more rules have applied so its not as "fun" anymore, plus when i and many others came on here the cars were 10k+++ so was a certain age group and person, now you can pick them up for 2k its attracted another kind of person as well ;) not saying all the new ones are all young chavs but i think we have our fair share now which doesnt go down well sometimes with us oldies :x: :cool:

it's just a cycle - I've seen it loads of times. To be fair though, there have been some that have deserved it... Harmz for one - "haterz!!!"

I remember the old days* with Craig, Herman Munster, Matty, Potski, Richie Cunningham, Tom Bosley and the one time the Fonz jumper his motorbike over that truck outside Al's diner.

No I supose when you've been around a while you get to know certain people and when you do something daft they either call you because they have your number or know someone who does and things are defused quite politely. Where as new people haven't got the same network and make more waves. + like Kirbz say's when I bought my Zed in 99 it wasn't a car that people under 30 could generally afford so more people had more in comon.

 

Oh Andy, if people were banned for smelling I'd be all right cos i shower every day, but my dislexia program don't always pick up my crab stelling.
