Front Bumper Mesh.........help !

Hi,

I am buying a bodykit for my 300zx, but there is a large space in the new front bumper. I know this is good for keeping the car cool and it looks great. But, I want to get a front mesh, so that stones, etc don't get into the engine !

Anyone know where I can get this or what I can use as a substitute ? thanks.

The most easily available stuff is extruded steel / aluminium from B&Q. Depending on what size of 'gap' you want in the mesh. The aluminium is only available with the 'larger holes'. If you go for the steel get it painted - it WILL rust - its not stainless!

Alternatively RGM mouldings do some stuff - expensive from what I remember. Its available through Demon Tweeks

Hi,

I'm also thinking of getting a kit. You should have a word with Luke at the Z center as I've seen a few kits he's supplied with a very nice mesh.
