Earlier tonight whilst I was driving a cutie shouts "hhooooyyyyyy" and gives me a smile so I smile back, then another one walking along and me admiring her beautifull looks (aka staring) :xxx: and she smiles like :D so I'm too like :D

In a week or two hopefully mate. 44k engine and bigger tubs going in, lightened underdrive pully, replacement steel steering rack bushes, removing all the air-con and then up to John Dixons then to get it all set up. Not sure how far we're gonna be able to push it on standard intercoolers and injectors but we'll have a go :)

decatt straight to the backboxes tt...nice on idle but awesome above 3000rpm..really grunty

Although the chunksters NA sounds awesome with it's decats on

its the performance gain why i want to remove mine. when i have the money for new tubs i will do it but not yet

What sort of power increase do you get out of it? (switching a standard exhaust to decatted straight through exhaust)

someone told me 30-40 bhp but i dont know if thats right

Nah i promised myself the most i'd do to mine is uprate the exhaust to make it sound better but i'm not going for performance, too expensive if it goes wrong.

 

I'll stick with the styling

An NA will always sound better than a TT because it hasn't got those tubby things to get in the way of the exhaust noise. :cool:
