Where does the other end of this pipe go?

Hello

Does any one know where the other end of this pipe attaches to? Its the red pipe in the pics. One end is attached to a T-piece and the other is just hanging there. It sucks in air when I rev the engine. Ive looked in all the service manuals but cant find any info.

    doesnt that attach to the metalpipe gallery that bolts to the siode of the plenum?

     

    i havnt got a pic at the mo, but if you see the insulated electrical cables/connectors that run alongside the plenum, there should be some small metal pipework behind those - i think it goes there!
