OK I have done a search and I am sure I have propshft vibration

Yes I feel it through the seat

Yes it gets better when warm

My question is I have read many references to check the Gearbox mounts but it always refers to the Auto box does this not happen on the manual box then

Also why is this bearing so expensive can the number be obtained and sourced from a bearing supplier

Thanks in Advance

Yes you can verify the rubber mount on the manual gearbox

replace it with a nismo unit

Nismo Mount

I really doubt you can find a number for this bearing...

personnaly I bought an aluminium 1 piece driveshaft: no more bearing probleme, way lighter and it looks really nice :)

Mate,I had a guy near me make up the '600' prop and he said he could do me a one-piece!-Mine was a cut 'n' shut and was £180 IIRC so probably around the same money?

Re the bearing,it's the rubber housing that comes with it mate,Nissan only! :o

Thanks for the replys Guys

I am deffinatley interested in one of these one piece Jobbies

Reet, true to my word,I had a chat with the man today!

Basically he needs one to do to give a set price, but said a ballpark of £100!! Please remember, this does not include replacing fooked u/j's etc

but it will be expertly made balanced etc.

SWB or LWB aint' a problem but will need two sets of measurements obviously!

So! if someone wants to be the Guinea Pig or has a spare prop lying around, let me know! ;)

Me I'm up for it

Where is the bloke based

How long would he want my car

Mine is a LWB N/A

is there enough of a difference between NA/TT, Auto and Manual props for him to need to see all of the above to make up replacements?

Couple of points dudes!

1. He don't need the car just your prop!

2. N/A,TT,Manual,Auto,It doesn't matter as all he will use is the original ends(g/box and diff) to make a new shaft!

i need one! as in another thread i made, mine is shaking at 40+ mph since i changed centre bearing! (yes i had checked wheel balancing)

i've been given a price of 90 + vat to rebalance the prop!!
