Good luck with the career change.

I always reckon selling one car and buying another costs £500-£1000.

All the advertising, travelling, HPi reports, getting stung by your insurance company when you swop vehicles, sorting niggles on both cars adds up quite a bit. Plus if you buy from a dealer they're maikng at least £500 on anything they touch.

It's worth bearing in mind as it can take a while to 'save' that sort of money by running a cheaper car.

I guess these things can be done cheaper if you put in the time.

Good luck whatever you decide.
