Hi all,

wondered if anyone can help..since yesterday i have a sort of er..rattling/scrapy sound coming from either the back or front wheel..it happens when i press the brake but then carrys on for ages and then goes away, then if i go over a bump or when i press the brake same thing happens again..im hoping its just something simple on my brakes, but now im thinking maybe the wheel bearings or maybe something worse..anyone had this?

thanks

Ed

could be worn out pads or a sticking pistion in the caliper

hopeing its that..but isnt there any kind of dashboard warning for that?

i dont think so, i know the pads have what i think are wear indicators on them that touch the disk when they are getting down, and make a horrible scraping noise (well mine did) so it could be them?
