Are these worth getting as my na is not very responsive pulling off

I find it difficult to believe that this would make a noticable difference, cars already have a voltage regulator/stabiliser circuit.

If you have a problem with a standard setup and standard chip then it's unlikley that a modified chip will fix it. I'd recommend identifying the root cause of the problem before making changes.

Hmm maybe its the fact I cant drive a manual Z, I just not great at pulling off at low revs, hmm I do some checking of cables

Burf .. try a grounding kit .. its an old car with crimped terminals on the cables .. oxidisation will give you a small resistance when starting etc .. the voltage stabiliser is useless IMO , your ECU and delicate electronics should already some form of supresion built in to compensate for the "Dirty DC" an alternator produces
