silly clifford alarm question.

Bloody remote fob arm/disarm doesnt work anymore - when alarm autoarms and goes off I cant disable it - cant enable it either - just have to wait for auto-arm.

Pressing the * and lights button puts it in valet mode so I can get into car without it going off.

Tried a 2nd Fob I found and it does the same!!! :(

Do you think problem with the alarm or both keyfobs have a buggered arm/disarm button??? (Did notice it was getting harder to arm/disarm the bloody thing - pressing button harder and harder).

Anyways, if I need a new keyfob anyone have one?

Thanks

Hi mate

You cant just get any clifford key fob. You need to go to an authorised Clifford dealer and they must order you one. There is a code in the manual that determines the frequency of your key fob.

I dont know why both your key fobs are not working, the first thing id try is a new battery! Approx £3 each.

Clifford do recommend getting your alarm serviced every year, which costs about £40 if no faults are found. You could book yourself one of those. HTH

Cheers fella - the second keyfob I nicked from a jeep we sold with a clifford concept 300 on (same as mine)

I programmed it all in - put new batteries and it worked at first but now that steadily died.
