Glad someone knows what I'm on about! :D (But can't you wack up the difficulty so your 6-year-old can't stretch across all the buttons?! That'll teach 'em)

Guitar Hero on the PS2- kind of a guitar-equivalent to karaoke, but way, way better.

You get a fake guitar controller (about 3/4 size) with buttons on the fret-board and a sprung bar to "pluck" on the body. You "play" along to well known songs (e.g. ZZ Top, Ozzy, etc) Notes rolldown the screen towards you- press the right buttons and "pluck" the thingy at the right time and the guitar section of the song plays- get it wrong and it goes silent or plays mis-hit "twang" noises.

The Rock-ometer tells you how you're doing- play too bad and you get boo-ed off the stage. Play well and the crowd goes mental.

Play with 2 guitars head-to-head.

THE best post-pub game in the whole world ever! :D

Oh, and you can get rock-bonuses for a short duration by lifting the guitar neck up, at which point you go mental on the screen and the crowd goes wild!

sounds pretty sick!
