Just wondered what u all thought. I was planning to but two backboxes off dp motorsport with 5 inch tailpipes amd mate it to a full stainless system by powerflow as you can choose what sort of sound you want etc....

Would this be a bad idea on a car like the zed or do u recon it would be ok???

How about the proper stainless front sections by the zed centre and just the rear section by powerflow??

Zedster, all i know about the tubing Power flow use is, it is NOT a very good grade, surface rust appears very quickly, if you want to do a custom jobbie, get yer back boxes then go to Tube Torque, cheshire area, they already do a system for the Zed, they can then mate up the pipe work to your boxes in 304 full stainless, they also do the front pipes.

I have the middle cross section and 3/4 of the rear section in almost new condition from HKS to make a single outlet version if any one is interested too.

I have seen a welding job that they did on a exhaust and the half assed welder i am - I could of still done a better job after 10 tins of Red Stripe.

 

If you think that is slander then i will throw down the gaunlet and prove it if anyone took pictures of the offending item !

I had a powerflow on my Mitsi GTOtt and it sounded the absolute nuts!It had a growl that really brought out the V6 engine sound and the fact that they replaced the CAT too made some noticeably power difference.

Would i get another one.....does a fat dog fart.....without a doubt......if i had a FORD FIESTA XR2....the welding lasted about 5 minutes and was mild steel welding and the system was made up of about 30 pieces of piping!!!
