I've used regular unleaded but it works out more expensive.

I get more MPG on super / Optimax which more than makes up for the price difference.

Mines had bp 97ron in once in the time I've had it, which was at the Jtuner thrash and I added millers octane boost to it. Other than that its without fail had optimax of tesco 99ron. Not worth the risk with high tuned cars IMO. :)

Yep Tesco 99 for me :)

you forgot tesco's 99 ron   great stuff .. try it

aaaarrrghhhhhhh - and this was a poll which i think i had covered!!!!!!! :headvswal

(stick it under the unknown part.. lol)

huge difference in responsiveness and MPG with higher RON. BP ultimate is good, optimax seems even better and i've never tried tesco so can't say :D

I use optimax, but I am working with someone to sort out a way of using 114ron fuel.

This sounds a bit strange, but I will post all the results in a couple of months when the testing is done. Can't say too much right now.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

My NA gets Optimax/Super UL sometimes, but mostly normal Unleaded.

When my TT is back on the road, Optimax or a higher ron rated fuel, ALL the time :D

My TT gets Optimax all the time

NA gets Super Unleaded and the occasional special treatment of Optimax

Dont have a Tesco anywhere near here that supplys 99ron.

I'll be feeding mine Tesco's 99 in the main with the odd drop of Optimax now and then.

Optimax all the time. But there has been some scams at my local Optimax garage in Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands as some of the checkout workers were scamming credit card details and fleecing the card. So i always pay with cash now. And generally Shell stopped chip and pin as so many of their dodgey workers were scamming credit cards.

Mostly Super unleaded Or Tesco 99, But i always carry a bottle of "Lucas Nitro" octane booster just in case !!

wondered if i'm the only cheap skate who goes for the unleaded option)

I thought everyone with a Jap Import should use super unleaded? aren't the high octane engines designed to use only that  Why whould you have a high performance car and use normal unleaded anyway?
