A couple of new pics taken yesterday evening on my phone cam.

Showing of the re-fitted mud spats and the new red (illuminated) centre tail section......... Going to get some new decent good quality pics soon, along with some of the illuminated panel.

loving the car and those wheels are to die for

Looking good. :)

My car's always had mud spats and initially I didn't like them, but now I think if you're keeping stock bodywork down the sides and back, then they help add something.

Nice car mate

I would get them colour coded and blended, nice wheels though..........very bling

have you had brembo brakes fitted then?

Now theres a sore point, my Brembos are still sat in the shed awaiting to go on, once the SS braided hoses are sorted ;)

Have you ever seen them colour coded :hurl: Sticks out like a sore thumb, and a hell of a lot worse than OEM spoilers for cracking and pealing. At the end of the day though, you either like these spats, or you don't, but I'm trying to keep it looking OEM (except the wheels), well 99 OEM anyway

Thanks for all the comments about the wheels though, I really like them, as you say, very bling ;)

what are the brakes in the picture then?

I wouldnt say coluor coded spats stick out like a sore thumb?

All right, I'll take that one back ;), as I was thinking of the white ones I've seen in the past, just don't look right.

Standard discs, with standard, but painted, callipers.

You're certainly a '99 Spec whore Dave! LOL.

Yep :D And I've still got two more items to turn up, well one if it ever leaves Japan, and the other if they ever leave North America (tomorrow hopefully :hyper: )

(Ooo,ears prick up)

What have you got coming from Japan mate?

I'd been following the inserts saga in the States when I saw you pop up there so I'm interested to know how they turn out. Painting+chroming them should be fun!

I (hopefully) have my '99 rear spoiler on the way too. Is there a 'correct' place to fit it or is it just done 'by eye'?

Graham.

looking great buddy

Looking great Dave....Im not far behind you now..Have the 99spec lights, 99spec rear spoiler and I have 99spec front bumper on the way now :)

If you could do that it would be very useful. Thanks.

Yep, agree by eye. I took loads of measurements, centralised everything, and drilled away. But not before checking as many photos of original 99's as I could. I also took a few pics of my own while I was fitting it.

As for what is coming from Japan, that would be the NAVAN auto shifter. I'm also looking into obtaining some other stuff, if it's possible, but that's all top secret at the moment ;)

Looking very nice matey! Deep dish alloys rule as well! Dave
