Hi guys, my mate really loves my zed and has nearly persuaded himself to finaly take the plunge and get one.

he really wants a twin turbo, thing is hes gonna use it everyday which will be on average a ten mile round trip to and from work, does anyone have any advice on wether this is a good idea to buy a twin turbo due to the reliability of using it every day for short trips. ive told him to get an n/a but says if hes gonna get one it will have to be a tt.

any thoughts and advice welcome

cheers

si

would not recomend him buying one asa a daily driver unless he is minted, it cost me £50 a week in petrol to work and back let alone the wear and tear to the car.

I had to buy an old banger at the auctions yesterday for the work run as it was just not economical

Yeah likewise, they don't like standing much. Agree with fairladyzgirl on the economy thing though. I use mine 3-4 times a week for a 50mile round trip and I put about £50 in a week. Also 1 set front tyres a year and two sets of rear so prob about £500-600 in tyres a year. He is doing very short trips though which isn't too good for the engine, hardly warms up in 6miles. Dave

Yeah ive got some thoughts Please Buy mine its in the for sale section and ive seen my next car so it needs to go!!!
