was stuck behind a little vauxhall sporty number vx220? in roadworks on sunday afternoon, soon as the road cleared he booted it. not to be out done stuck happily behind him till about 120 then just flying past!

was surprised just how quick that little thing was tho, had me worried for a few seconds!!

went toe to toe for bout 30miles, id slow down...let him fly past and visa versa! was great fun!! :D

Hang on.........i have a gsi zafira and no way.no way it is any were near my zed, i relise it is a bit heavier then the vx but it feels like a slug which is in low gear up to my zed!

Dude, the Zafira weights over twice as much as a VX220.

 

Same reason people put Calibra Turbo engines in Novas....now as much as everyone hates reality, that is going to be as quick or if not quicker than a TT zed...as much as everyone hates Novas, with a C20LET in it, they'll hit 60 in about 5 - 6 seconds....with a bit of luck from Mr Racelogic.

Some how I just can't see a vx turbo do 170mph+ lol. My mate's zed in safety boost did 170mph.

 

Oh yeah the vx turbo will easily out handle any zed, but on todays busy roads you'll wont get a chance.

There's nowhere in this thread saying that it can. They top out at about 140 I think.
