ok i'm going to explain this as mechanically as possible... bearing in mind im a girl!
AND IF ANYONE SAYS - girls shouldn't drive.... I'll smack u! :slap:
Whenever i like stick my foot on the brakes, there is a funny noise like a creaking, rusty strain on an old rusty spring or like a fat ox walking on a floor board... its really creaky, and the harder i slam the brakes, the less noise, but when i do it slowly its loud and very creaky...
the car has recently passed its MOT (in March) so i very much doubt its dodgy brakes, but who knows...
is there some other part i should get checked out - could it be the pedal ?
