yup, ordered my copy but couldnt download then and there due to high volume :) what a surprise hehe

vista will kick arse over OSX imo. it bloody well should do anyway!

jeez vista kick osx's arse! that can never happen, osx is the best desktop OS available today with its unix foundation and advanced technologies. vista only touches the surface of what osx can do. besides osx leopard will be out when vista comes out then we shall see...

jeez i think i talk like that because i used to work for apple!

nah, you talk like you know nothing about vista

while we are all either mac or pc fans, anyone who's had a real look at what vista can do knows that it is the daddy's. the only thing im worried about is the high system requirements...

http://www.winsupersite.com should provide a good insight for anyone wanting to know more.

Vista is still an MS product...name one that was not sh*te????XP is ok but still as flaky as a big bag of flaky stuff. How long will it be before Vista SP1 is out? How many updates do you need now for a basic XP install??? I think it is nearly 60...

OS X is reliable, installs are easier, it is faster...wins hands down...

And guess what...they actually test it rather than send it out and let the public do it...

Yeah, I agree, but at the end of the day you still haven't got a proper 'puter  ;)

What, cos it works and doesn't BSOD all the time? And because it is not on XP SP 17 with IE6 SP12 and all the updates and AV needed to block all the security holes?

Yeah mate, you keep you "real puters"...PMSL
