Okay when i got the car i ran it till the petrol light came on solid without flashing then topped it up with 20 quid of normal unleaded then drove like an old person to see the most i could get out of it and then both my bro and dad blew about a 5ers worth out the back on the straights.

Astonishingly managed to get 130 miles on 20 quids worth of petrol!!!!

Then just to make sure it wasn't a fluke topped it up with 40 today to go to peterborough way and back and managed 134 quid, using very little boost, almost none, never revving it past 3.5k and did that on less than 20 quids worth????

What's going on? That's like 35mpg! from a twin turbo?????

My question is.....

How?????

I've only ever squeezed 254 out of 35 quid which works out about 34mpg from my NA. Is it to do with the compression ratio if i'm not touching the tubby?

NA - 10:1

TT - 8.5:1

?

Well I put in £20 of Optimax yesterday and reset the odometer, its nearly empty and I've done 23 miles, work that 1 out ! Its killing me financially lol

Bloody hell. Thats about 4 mpg. That cant be right. Can it? lol

Must say that when my Zed was on the road, on long motorway journeys it was pretty impressive actually.

Yep, very economical on Motorway journeys when cruising off-boost......however, thrashing about town is completly different story.

You driving normally?Overfueling at all?

My best is 300ish to a full tank (driving very gayley)

My worst (actual best lol) is 92 miles to £62 at bruntingthorpe :D that included the 30 mile commute there and back :D

Now run it hard and see what you get. The more you plant the right foot the more the petrol the beastie drinks. No more drivng like an a wimp :nono: Get your foot down
