Diff oil cooler?

My car is an tt man and a uk spec: now then, i have just asked my chap who is under the car right now to plug up the rear oil diff cooler as it is cream crackerd and leaking, and also not needed,now thats done, can someone tell me,where to and how much and whats the best fluid for this job please? :)

    have you got rid of ther cooler altoghther and filled up the diff? If thats the case I have done the same and filled the diff with syn 5 from oilman (simon ) from memory it took about 1.7 litres to fill it...hope this helps..

    No the pipe that came out was broke so i just bypassed it,because it looked like to much hassle to take out.
