I saw it when I collected my car 2 weeks ago! He was showing me around it and telling me what he plans to do to it. He knows his stuff!

 

He is a trader, the owner's name is Lee and is a very nice bloke. He has some fantastic cars including Supras, Skylines, 300zx's, Scoobys and Mitsubishi GTOs :cool:

 

PM him. Im sure he'll be glad to tell you about it and when he expect's it'll be ready.

You can see where the money has gone though. Nice but a track or drag car really methinks. Where would you take it without worry that some tit fancied keying it? How many days in a year would you actually drive it? Lets not even talk about the cost of up-keep or your insurance. That said, it probably eats the road like a starving man eats a pizza slice. Wonder what it's 0-60 is.

 

I've already got my Z. Hopefully, whoever buys this example join the forum and let us know if it was worth the money.

I think it's really nice with the lights and everything, could do with sideskirts and a a/m rear bumper, and I'm sure that spoiler is serving a purpose ( Re: Consegninwamagig* Top Gear for example)

As i said in my PM to royal be very very careful as its running standard injectors :wack: so i would hazard a guess that either bigger injectors have been removed or the power figures are a load of rubbish??? or (fingers crossed) he has got it wrong and they are bigger injectors :)

Yeah, that was my mistake sorry. It looks like it has 555s in there, and the guy was talking about gaining the extra power with 800s and higher boost. Don't want to big it up too much though cause everyone will bid on it lol :( Night,night Dave

Right who the feck was it?!! A customer of ztech who has a SWB, blew the engine when picking the car up from southampton docks. Also has a skyline and possibly an american???

 

Anyhow, I went up to look at the car, took a chance that I might be able to drive back in it but lost the auction. I would've payed 10k if I had it I reckon. A pretty extreme Zed. It was missing a bit though, a bit rough. The owner thought maybe it had gassed a cylinder/ wet plug form short journeys and shit petrol today while on way to shell garage and valet. He did seem a genuine guy. I offerred him more money after the auction had finished ( I tried to bid more but it finished before my super slow mobile phone connection connected to ebay) but he wouldn't except it as he had promised the other guy. Anyhow who knows how high he would have gone. I tried contacting greg and ryan to see who it was, and maybe save one of us some cash but didn't get any answer. It had everything it said on the ebay advert and some. He ran a load of dealerships and had mechanics and bodyshop people to do pretty much whatever he wanted to it. All the receipts were there for the work. Its not the sort of zed you go to the shops in though, would be ideal as just a hardcore track car. He was saying how he got stuck in traffic one day and melted his trainer from the heat of the turbos! Anyhow bit gutted I didn't get it but now I've got 9k burning a hole so might as well treat the zed. I don't think I could get any other car that would match my zed for that money. I'd like to give an rx7 or a skyline a go but I'd have to spend to much money to match the power of my current zed, and I don't want to drop in power.

Right need some new tyres for the Jtuner thrash! and get my nose re-sprayed

Bugger Dave, feal gutted for ya... :cry: Look at it this way dude, now with all that spare cash yo've got you could get some more mods for your Z to make it even more powerful!!!

 

Bigger thicker side mount intercoolers, Koyo Rad, Nismo 555's, uprated fuel pump, DTA engine management, raised boost pressure + some vents to cool all that extra heat down under that bonnet!! Reckon with your set up you could be close power wise to that track day Z, just with a bit of extra weight your Z is carrying and you still got space to carry your boards around it!!!

Lol Jon, yeah fair one mate, trying to decide what to do now. The plan was to spend up to about 8.5k on the new zed and then sell mine for 6k so really I would have only spent 2.5k to get some very extreme mods. If you add up all those extra mods its probably another 10-20k on mine, and mines already had well over 10k spent on it! Its that magical 450bhp barrier that costs so much to pass over. I figure I'd rather do it cheaper by buying a car thats already had it done. Not really into shelling out 20k of my own for someone else to build a car for me anyhow. It would be different if I was building it with my own hands. Dave
