I have 91 TT Jap spec with Hicas.

Can I use any shocks (eg from US) or must they be specially for Jap Spec, RHD.??

Thanks

you can use US or j spec varients no differance :)

Cos Guy in the states told me that the shocks in the US would not fit properly beacuse of the Hicas on the back wheels??

The U.S Shocks will have the Actuators on them for the electric adjustable suspension. Jap cars never had them.

http://www.zcentre.co.uk can supply original Jap shocks, as can MJP (see forum traders section)

If you want aftermarket, then any aftermarket shocks will fit (for US,UK or JAP)

Thanks but a little pricey as I can get them from the U.S for $200 which i like 110 pounds.

If it's from Ebay, don't forget the shipping and duty. I got these from the states and paid almost $100 shipping and then got clobbered for a further £30 when they were delivered :(

steves right, i also paid 100$ for shipping and £30 duty, i bought the KYB-AGX fully adjustable and fitted Eibach springs from luke at ZCentre... and i have to say they transformed the car..

in total, with shipping and duty mine cost £250 delivered..
