Is it just me or has the forum deteriorated into a chat room, isn't that what MSN, Yahoo and all those sites are for?

There seems far too many threads which are just inane banter between two persons and of no interest whatsoever to anyone else.

yep your talking about my last thread,:( I think if people want to talk s**t on here and others enojoy those threads then so be it.Life is full of to much red tape.

isn't that why we have a General area, to get together and talk about anything?

 

I say as long as its harmless, keep it up. Its what keeps the forum fun, and keeps me coming back.

i talk more cod sh*t than anyone and that's what i like here. I have a real laugh, the people are great, effing nuts some of them and if you want technical questions then by all means go to the technical forum but this is the general area, anyone may say anything and that's half the fun of it :)

...however 5 page threads of *****x/non-zed chat between just 2-3 members every day is going a tad OTT, no offence to either, nothing personal and Im sure you know who you are ;) , but thats what the PM system is if you want to keep it in the forum..or MSN if not. ;) .

Wasn't this part why the post count got taken off last year? Must admit that I find the non zed stuff quite interesting and its what keeps me on here. I dont like the forum filling up with spam and worthless b*llshit but i like to see what interests other members, whether its related such as engine building or just things like computer games or surfing.

I too like to know what other people get up and what there interests are, it's how you get to know someone and form decent long lasting friendships which I hope all of us on here god willing will be for many years to come regardless of what type of car we own or not... ;)
