Went to my cousin's wedding over the weekend, they went a bit OTT with the car hiring... they had a S-Class, 911 Turbo, Bently GT, Ferrarr 360 and a lamborghini murcielago.

 

The lambo completely overshadowed the others with it's presence and engine roar... definately would be the car if would get... anyways, here are some pics.

I love the murcielago but for some reason I really like the Gallardo. I know its like a baby version of the murciwagiwa and not as good but I love the look of it.

I know mine isn't a supercar but I bet there are a few supercar zeds on here.

i think the zed WAS a supercar of its day especially with its on the road price:O!!!!

 

well in my opinion it still is a supercar, but for the above question, i think the only other "supercar" i like is the 911, personal taste n all and even then i prefer the 80's models :(.

only new super fast car i like is the coniseg thing they had on top gear last (stig crashed it)

Price tag, running costs, repair costs, and on the road presence. Personally I and many others including motoring organisations do think it is a SUPERCAR !

second that! the CCX is a beast. anything over mid 4 seconds to 60 is not a supercar imo...

 

i would always have a ferrari over a lambo, theyre nice but something about them just doesnt seem special to me. they just dont seem as quality!

Ferrarri have the heritage and motorracing pedigree but lambo have sliding doors.

 

Still love lambo's though. They're like A supermodel compared to ferrarris gorgeous oscar winner.

I say in this day and age if your car does a sub 5 second 0-60 then its super. I'd like to say sub 6 second but then things like Astra Vxr's and Type R's would be super cars and we all know thats not true.

 

So that 5 second mark means that there are loads of supercar zeds on here.

no, the 348 GTS isn't a super car. it's nowhere near. yes it does 170 tops but 0-60 isn't quick enough.

So I suppose the title of supercar is subjective and its up to each person to decide whether to them a car is or isn't a supercar.

Zed is not supercar in my eyes. Fast GT car yes...

 

First on my list would be an electric blue Lamborghini Gallardo. There is no car better looking IMHO.

Friend of mine used to have a 4x4 Calibra Turbo which was tuned to about 350bhp...he could hit 60 in about 4.5 seconds. Certainly doesn't make it a supercar.
